La Aroma De Cuba El Jefe

Hello Everybody, Today's review is La Aroma De Cuba El Jefe La Aroma de Cuba now made in Nicaragua by Cigar Master Don Pepin Garcia. While maintaining La Aroma de Cuba's characteristic richness and spiciness, the new blend adds a complexity and fullness to the cigar that first time smokers and brand loyalists alike will enjoy. Origin : Nicaraguan Wrapper : Connecticut Broadleaf Filler :Nicaraguan Binder : Nicaraguan Hand-Made Size: 7 x 58 Cost: $6.00 Time to Smoke: 90 mins Construction and Appearance: Firm slightly toothy brown tin of red wrapper with minimal veins tight seams and a double cap with a rich peppery tobacco aroma Pre-Light: Get a scent of cocoa, coffee, hay and oak. The pre draw is easy not to firm and get a taste of cocoa, coffee, oak and dried fruit. 1/3: With the first third about 1 min in you get rich cocoa, coffee, dried fruit, oak spice. The draw not too loose but right where it needs to be so that the cigar is not burning too fast. 2/3: The draw in the second starts to open a little. Draw is rich, cool, creamy and smooth smoke. The flavor changes a little, now you notice some notes of chocolate. Still the light oak spice profile, the dried fruit turns into a cherry. Still say this is a medium to full cigar. 3/3: The final third, more cocoa, the dried fruit, a bit more of the oak. The creaminess of the flavor moves to the front of pallet. Draw remains fair providing the creamy, sweet, smooth smoke. By the end the cigar become more of a full profile. This 2 thumbs up from me, but do not take my word for it. Overall rating: 8.5/10
