CAO Italia Ciao

Hello Everybody, Today's review is CAO Italia Ciao

This particular tobacco is grown in the Benevento region of Italy and offers an enjoyable sweetness backed ever so slightly by a toasted earthiness. When combined with a lusciously dark Habano-seed wrapper leaf grown in Honduras and a select blend of fine filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Peru, the result of the intricate 5"x 56 Ciao is an incredibly rich, robust, and complex smoke

Hand-Made

Origin : Nicaragua

Wrapper : Habono Maduro

Filler : Italian, Nicaraguan, Peruvian

Binder : Honduran

Size: 5 x 56

Cost: $7.00 - $8.00

Time to Smoke: 80 mins

Construction: Dark Chocolate wrapper, stout and firm in the hand. Seams are pretty tight; there are a lot of veins, Double Cap on the head of the cigar. Looks like a slight box press , but not completely square.

Pre-Light: Draw is clean, smooth and has notes of chocolate and hay

1/3: Draw is on the firm side, Slightly sweet and little oily. Pepper starting to build on the end of the finish. 10 mins in and the burn is uneven, Medium flavor earthy sweet note towards a chocolate.

2/3: Flavors are giving a nutty, Chocolate and oak. The construction holding up but does need a touch up from time to time. The draw is still firm, if you are a fan of the easy draw than you may not like this one.

3/3: No flavor changes from second to third. Oily pepper and chocolate, very disappointing burn needs re touch.

This is a ok cigar I am not a fan of the firmer draws, check it out today.

Overall rating: 6/10
