Asylum's Dragons Milk Cigar Review
S01:Ep70
Asylum Cigars have been topping the charts in recent years. They have perfected the art of crafting flavor-inducing, full-bodied cigars with top-of-the-line construction in even the largest of vitolas. Known for their innovative approach and priding themselves on straying from conventional methods, their next venture has been raising eyebrows since it was first announced. Welcome, Asylum Dragons Milk.
Here, Asylum teams up with New Holland Brewing Co. located in Holland, MI., using New Holland’s used stout barrels, built to age their Dragon’s Milk which weighs in at a potent 11% ABV. Each Dragon’s Milk cigar is aged in these barrels for 48 hours, infusing the already captivating blend with a wonderful dark stout flavoring. Speaking of the blend, this Nicaraguan puro utilizes a spotless Nicaraguan wrapper sitting gracefully atop a bevy of well-aged Nicaraguan long-fillers. Bold, complex notes of black pepper, caramel, and a meaty nuance all enter the fray, and assist in this medium-bodied prize selling out…FAST. Don’t miss the boat on this one.
